Black Wine 05:56
A parasite adorns the globe Her tendrilled children spread a web across the earth Build a seat of all your subjects bones Light the way through pyres to fallen culture We will fight for you Spill our brothers blood in your name We will die for you Your enemies shall bleed the same And when the world is dust and ruin Only the strong will remain. Winds will ravage the world of men Great fires wash their stain from the world Children drown in the deeping torrent Like fleas clinging to the corpse of god We will drink black wine to you And toast the fall of craven kings And when the world is dust and ruin The cleansing can begin

The death of the soul is worse than the death of the flesh It carries a chill that can not find rest in faith Our lord ushers me into his humble grace To pour upon me the sum total of his hate I bathe within the puss of his lies And in his sight I’m anewed and arise Beelzebub, the Lord of The Flies Opens the truth of the world before my eyes I am now, as I was before All I can do is show you the door
4.
I carry all my sins inside the box that’s draped around my neck I’d failed a thousand times and will a thousand more I should expect I walk across the plains of torture and of self destructive pain The pleasures of the flesh devices meant to torture me again I was a passenger within the bones of those who make a stand I will be bathed in blood and righteously will rule across the land The suffering visited on me I return a hundredfold I am the coming of the final days long ago foretold Endless falling Into the night never stalling Hopeless crawling Wretched and lost hear them calling Born to perish Finite existence to cherish I am greater I am the god’s chosen savour You pay your tithe to me and I will grand you refuge on the hill The blood of infidels will wash away the sins of all our ilk A heavy price to pay for man to take the place of all the gods A planet made of clay to shape and build to suit our many wants I take my leave now leave one truth for you to carry forth The sanctity of life and worth of every man still has a cost I pay it gladly to return upon the desert I have wrought A humble innocent to built a refuge high upon the rocks I’m every truth and every lie I’m all you love that slowly dies

Craven words dressed in a cloak of denial Perverted thoughts of a mind so vile What a noble foe to make of a child Target the weak as they die in their droves Safe from the comfort of a gilded throne Crushing a life that steps outside of your mold Live in fear Drown in hate Shield with one hand with the other molest Silence the voices of those who dissent Every accusation is a mirrored confession Live in fear Drown in hate

My body is a temple to suffering Unholy walls surrounding me echo my screams Death journeyed here upon the fleating winds And now the genocide of my people begins They lock us in their walls And cart us off in boxes They feed us lies And steal our food The capital machine Never stops revolving No sustenance to give When millions are starving Hunger eats into my souls Greed and hate the bodies pailed untold The act that stains a man, they view us not as people There is no god who’s breath he’d hold. Still living wraiths of men Entombed in greed of empire Robbing food from children’s mouths To keep the coffins fed Convert or die Laying waisted on the beaten roads All aid refused The Queen is fine with her rule Hunger eats into my souls Greed and hate the bodies pailed untold The act that stains a man, they view us not as people There is no god who’s breath he’d hold. Hunger eats into my souls Greed and hate the bodies pailed untold The act that stains a man, they view us not as people There is no god who’d sit and stare

about

In 1962 the Grand Guignol, Paris, closed it's doors for the final time. In the wake of World War 2, they could not compete with the horrors of real life, that man could inflict on his fellow man.

Riain Mac Aoidh agrees, and in the spirit of the Rue Chaptal playhouse, reopens their doors for one final performance. Tales of horror, madness, genocide, and death await you. Admit one to Le Théâtre du Grand-Guignol.

"This album has been a labour of love, a chance for me to dig into inspiration from much heavier music than I usually look to. It's an angry record that has given me a lot of catharsis in making. I hope you enjoy it."
